we’ve been big fans of the tokyo-based brand ‘taion’ for a few years now and with good reason too. translating ‘body temperature’ from japanese to english, taion does a great job in keeping you warm as the temperature lowers. specialising in down-filled mid-layers with a military-inspired finish, taion is a welcome addition to the roster.

the military crew neck down vest is a classic taion design. it has a regular-fitting, straight cut with a button front and crew-neck finish; it also has press studded slits on the side to aid movement. produced in a 5mm square ripstop fabric with 800 fill power down/feather insulation the fabric has been onion-stitched and quilted for warmth and finished in cotton piping.
